Shipping / Return Policy

Q. When will I receive my order?

Every candle is hand-poured with love and packed with care. Please allow 3–4 business days for us to process your order before shipping.

  • Economy delivery : Takes 6–14 business days. You may be required to pay customs duties/tax upon arrival, depending on your country’s regulations.
  • Express delivery : Takes 4–12 business days. Express options are typically shipped DAP/DDP and may cover customs, depending on region.

Please check your country’s import rules before placing an order. Refused deliveries are not eligible for refunds.

We’re not responsible for delivery delays caused by customs, weather, or carrier issues once the item leaves our studio, but we’ll do our best to support you🤍

Q. Can I cancel my order?

yes! only if your order has not entered "In Progress" status.

Email us at info@getlitseoul.com with your order number. Once your order is being packed or shipped, we cannot cancel it.

Q. I need to change my shipping address.

Address changes follow the same rule as cancellations.

If your order is not yet "In Progress," we’ll update it, so just email us ASAP.

We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses entered by the customer. Always double-check before confirming your order.

Q. I have received a damaged package.

Oh no...we're so sorry that happened!

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Email us at info@getlitseoul.com with:

• Your order number
• Clear photos of the damaged item(s), the box, and the shipping label

Once we review and confirm the issue with the shipping carrier, we’ll offer either:

• A replacement shipment or
• A full refund to your original payment method

whichever you prefer.

Please note: We cannot offer refunds or replacements without photo proof or if the issue is reported after 48 hours from delivery.

Q. Can I return my order?

Yes !! We only accept returns on unused candles in original condition. We cannot offer refunds for candles that have been lit or damaged after delivery.

Here's how:

  1. Take clear photos (front, top, side) of the product.
  2. Email us at info@getlitseoul.com with your order number and photos.
  3. After we confirm the item hasn’t been used, we’ll share the return address.
  4. Ship the product back via your chosen courier (return shipping is paid by the customer).

  • We reserve the right to refuse returns on items that show signs of use, damage, or are returned without prior communication.
  • We are not liable for lost return packages — please use a tracked shipping method.
  • By purchasing from Get Lit Seoul, you agree not to pursue legal action or claims for issues outside our control, such as customs delays, tax charges, or user-submitted address errors.

Candle Care

Q. How long should I burn my candle the first time?

For best performance, always burn your candle until the entire surface melts to the edge of the jar. Usually 2–3 hours! This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn every time.

Q. Why does my candle have a bumpy or uneven surface after burning?

That's totally normal with 100% soy + coconut wax blends! We don’t add hardening chemicals. It won’t affect the scent or performance. Just proof that it’s clean and natural.

Q. Why does my candle look slightly different than the photo?

Each Get Lit Seoul candle is hand-poured with intention. That means no two are exactly the same! That’s part of the charm. Minor variations in color or surface texture are totally normal and don’t affect how your candle burns or smells.

Q. How often should I trim the wick?

Before every burn, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (0.6 cm). This helps reduce soot, keeps the flame steady, and extends the life of your candle.

Q. Can I burn it all the way down to the bottom?

PLEASE DO NOT!!! Stop using your candle when about 1 cm (around ½ inch) of wax remains. This prevents the jar from overheating or cracking.

Q. The flame looks too high or flickers a lot—what should I do?

Blow out the candle, let it cool, trim the wick a bit shorter, and relight. A calm flame means a safer and more efficient burn.

Q. Is it normal for the jar to get hot?

Yes, but always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, pets, or anything flammable. Never leave a candle unattended while burning.

Q. Can I reuse the jar?

Absolutely. Once your candle is finished, clean out the remaining wax with warm soapy water and reuse the jar however you like! Just not for food storage.

Q. Can I buy in bulk?

Yes! Bulk orders are welcome with a minimum of 50 candles.

We offer discounted pricing, and international bulk orders may incur custom duties and adjusted shipping rates based on destination and volume.
